Hi, I am Jeff.
I live in beautiful, sunny Santa Barbara where I'm the university photographer at UC Santa Barbara. What does a University photographer entail you might ask. Well, I could be photographing microscopic quantum photonic chips or a portrait of an esteemed Nobel laureate, or a basketball game with a thousand fans stomping and cheering inches from my ear. In short, I photograph every genre of photography there is.
"Jack of all trades, master of none" is the mantra I often associate with... I think to myself, how can I be a great photographer if I don't specialize in one genre? Well that's the thing. By photographing in various fields, I have not only improved my skill as a whole, but I am able to approach photoshoots with different perspectives. New angles bring unique photographs that can only be curated through experience.
